Gateway Staff Spotlight
Cory Dahl grew up in Eau Claire, WI, where he spent summers traveling with his parents and older brother to the wild areas of Northern WI. It was during this time that he developed he passion for the natural world while realizing the ability it has to build relationships.
Cory has always found fulfillment in serving others either through his experience as a touring musician or a direct service provider for people with disabilities. A graduate from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Science Degree with a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cory joined Wilderness Inquiry as a Trail Staff in 2008. His specialty was Yellowstone National Park, family trips, and Gateway trips.
When Cory is not leading Gateway trips he is planning events, getting ready for his wedding this June, and riding his bike around town. You will really enjoy Cory for his non-stop upbeat energy and the constant care and concern he has for people.
Favorite wilderness quote: “Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit.” Edward Abbey.
